Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Ganda Tech Services Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), the developer of Cineladder (the “App”), collects, uses, shares and protects your information. It is written to comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and Google Play's User Data policy.

The short version. Cineladder is free, has no ads, and never sells your data. You can play the whole daily quiz as a guest. If you choose to sign in with Google, we store your display name and a Google account identifier so we can save your streak and place you on leaderboards. We use privacy-respecting analytics and crash reporting to keep the App working. The App is for adults (18+).

1. Who we are

Cineladder is developed and operated by Ganda Tech Services Pty Ltd. For any privacy question or grievance, contact our Grievance Officer (see §10).

2. Data we collect

We collect only what the App needs to function. We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, messages, financial information, or any advertising identifier.

3. How we use your data

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling for marketing, or any automated decision-making that affects your legal rights.

5. Data security

All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information.

6. Data retention

Account data (display name and account identifier) is kept while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete this data. Analytics and crash data are retained only as long as needed for the purposes above and are then deleted or aggregated.

7. Your rights & account deletion

Under the DPDP Act and applicable law you may access, correct, or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent. You can delete your account and associated data at any time:

8. Children

Cineladder is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
